Great product. I have a cichlid tank and the new arrivals are always getting pecked at initially. Melafix, without having to remove the carbon from your filter, patches up frayed fins and chipped scales in a few days. I haven't tried anything else, but this works pretty well for me., I was skeptical when I bought this product...
