I'm not sure what the previous reviewer to review but it might not have this product because there is nothing like a rubber band in the product. It works well with pump aqualifter keep the pump clean. My complaint but I was never able to find a replacement filter, you must buy the whole thing again but instead of a part of the fiber filter.
